Vacuum tube audio fair 2007 Exhibition report

We sent to the vacuum tube audio fair held from October 6 to October 7 in Akihabara in Tokyo.

In the system 1, you exchanged the cartridge and tried listening the stereo record and monophonic record of an analog record.

The case where a monophonic record was heard by stereo cartridge YC-03S was compared with the case where it is heard by YC-03M only for a monophonic recording.

I carried out comparison of a stereo record and a monophonic record by the record of the same title, and had the advantage of the cartridge for monophonic recordings checked.

Although you can hear the original record of the jazz around 1960 also in the cartridge for stereos, the feeling of a lively motion when hearing it in the cartridge only for a monophonic recording has the charm which is hard to obtain.

I think that the person of attendance found the point.

Moreover, since it can connect with power amplifier directly from phono equalizer amplifier and A-011 of our company can omit a line amplifier part for power amplifier with volume, it cannot overlook a quality rise in the portion, either.

Moreover, in the system 2, you connected power amplifier with CD player directly, and heard the sound with high freshness.

Since the signal which came out of CD player can be directly inputted into power amplifier, compared with the usual directions for use, a signal course can be shortened sharply, and the musical amount of information can be pulled out to the maximum extent.

In this case, the vacuum tube used in order to sound a speaker will be only two pieces.

Moreover, at the time of the audition of A-011, you substituted 2A3 of RCA, and 2A3 of the Emission Lab of Germany, and comparison-tried listening an output tube.

In 2A3 of RCA, the sound with a sound the sound of rich inside compass is impressive, and clear in 2A3 of an Emission Lab and high freshness was charm.

The direction of the Emission Lab had the visitor's reaction a high reputation generally, and the fresh sound from which the image of the vacuum tube of the conventional 2A3 differs was reputation.

I think that our company also wants to use 2A3 of an Emission Lab company as a standard from now on.

From the Emission Lab company, 2A3 which miniaturized glass size arrived and I have decided adoption to be A-011 of our company lately.

In the 2A3 vacuum tube, although the size is the quite larger one, it serves as a size which can be used comfortable in design.
